I am Licensed as a Real Estate Broker in the State of California, USA. (Have been since 1976)
In California one does not just pay a fee and become a Real Estate Broker, it requires much study and the passing of a tough exam. Further more, in order to maintain the earned Broker' s License, every four years we have to study again, (Continuing Education) pass the Brokers Test again and pay a Fee as well, again! (Close to $200.00 each time)
By Law we Brokers are allowed to conduct business in the Sales of Real Estate and Businesses, only in the State that we are Licensed in... Like it or not the above is a fact.
